Snowshoeing Journal
The most memorable time during snowshoeing was when we had a snow ball fight. Some of us girls, Me, Sarah, Hanna, Mila, and Elizabeth, ganged up on Noah and Josh D and whooped them good!! I challenged myself by not falling down. I succeeded by not falling down and walking a VERY long way in snowshoes that are heavy! I made sure that if someone had stopped that they were okay.I learned that it is very tiring but that if you don't give up you get rewarded in the end!

The Crux
For the past two weeks we have been going to the Crux. My most memorable moment at the Crux was having that little bit of adrenaline pumping as you are nearing the top. The only problem with that adrenaline is that once it wears off you are exhausted. At the end of the two lessons I still hadn't made it up a wall, so I decided to push myself to get up a wall on the third time.I succeeded in making it to within 10 feet where I then had to come down because our session was over. I helped someone else by belaying Sam and being able to prevent her from falling . I learned to never give up because in the first two sessions I gave up so that prevented me from making it to the top.

Canmore Nordic Centre
Today we went to the Nordic centre.
The most memorable event today was that it was nice and quiet and that we were in the middle of the mountains. We had so much fun in our group trying to not get it in the forest that we got it in the forest more. I personally tried to attempt different ways of throwing even though i wasn't that great at them. I think succeeded by actually finishing the course without getting lost because I'm not so great with figuring out when I am in a forest to help people who couldn't find their Frisbee! I learned you should always have a person with you when out in the woods or else you could get lost!
I had lots of fun frolfing!!!

COP
Today we went to COP.
The most memorial thing that we did at COP was the team building. It really made us put our lives on the line and trust each other.I personally challenged myself by trusting other people to guide me. That was a big stretch for me, normally I only trust myself to the closest of friends. I thought that I succeeded in trusting others and not only myself. I tried to be as encouraging to others that were not as comfortable with things and tried to tell them reassuring things that would help them over come that fear. I think I learned that you can't trust only your friends because they may not be there when you need help.
